Pensions Administrator
Job Specification
To deal with a range of administration tasks in respect of group occupational pension schemes, Small Self Administered Pension Schemes (SSAS) and Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPP), including Qualifying Recognised Overseas Pension Schemes (QROPS).
These tasks include:
• Benefit calculations
• Contribution processing
• Unit price calculations
• Scheme valuations
• Production of annual benefit statements
• Written and verbal communication with clients, scheme members & scheme advisors
• Opening and maintaining bank/investment accounts
• Processing financial transactions/investment trades
• Processing new client applications and transfers
• General maintenance of records and files
• Processing retirements and transfers out
Trust based pensions experience not essential but would be an advantage.
Insurance/life company experience also an advantage.
Good communication and computer skills essential
