Job Purpose Summary:

To provide statutory and legal procedural and record-keeping support to the Client Services Team in the administration of the client entities and of other TCSPs managed by our client subsidiaries (‘in-house’ entities).

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities/Duties:

1. On request, to process the establishment of new client and in-house entities, (whether by creation of an entity or transfer-in of an existing entity), both externally and internally.

2. On request, to process the constitutional changes and statutory requirements of client and in-house entities, and to maintain the constitutional, statutory and transactional records of those entities.

3. To be responsible for the monitoring and compliance with statutory filing obligations for client and in-house entities, including the submission of company Annual Returns, and to be responsible for the convening and recording of company Annual General Meetings.

4. On request, to process the closure (including the completion of statutory and legal formalities) of client and in-house entities, (whether by termination or transfer-out of an entity) both externally and internally.

5. To keep client entity records (including statutory records) up-to-date on digital systems (including ViewPoint) and physical tangible files.

6. To liaise with official bodies in relevant jurisdictions as appropriate in relation to the Department’s responsibilities with regard to client and in-house entities.

7. To maintain a small portfolio of Isle of Man shelf companies.

8. To meet chargeable time requirements.

9. To observe and comply with internal policies and procedures.

10. To liaise with all departments as required.

11. To participate in training and tests provided by pursuant to regulatory obligations to train and test its employees and to demonstrate competency in the topics tested.

12. Anything else reasonably required by our client in the establishment, technical administration and closure of client and in-house entities and the maintenance of any managed TCSP’s licences and regulatory compliance.

 

Skills required: 

• Ability to develop and understanding of the requirements of the different jurisdictions in which our client entities are established
• Expertise in use of Viewpoint
• Appropriate up-to-date annual qualification in topics on which our client has a regulatory obligation to test its employees; training and testing will be provided
