Technical Support Consultant – Maternity cover
We currently have a vacancy within our Technical Services Department on the Isle of Man for a Technical Support Consultant. The role is quite varied with the successful applicant being expected to do/be involved in the following:
• Provision of technical support to sales and our supporters on international tax developments, general estate/succession planning and technical product queries
• Undertake research for sales / our supporters to help secure new business and retain existing business
• Deliver training courses to the appropriate areas of the Group/our supporters to address technical training needs
• Maintain a detailed awareness of regulatory, fiscal and any other matters of a competitive nature that would have an impact of the effectiveness of the Group/our products.
• Product developments
The successful candidate should ideally have a good understanding of:
• Offshore Life Industry
• UK Taxation of Isle of Man Life Industry Products
• UK Inheritance Tax
• Trusts used for UK Inheritance Tax/Succession Planning
Full training will be provided however, the applicant should have at least 2 years work experience in a Life Assurance Company or a Trust/Corporate Service provider.
