Location: Isle of Man
Reporting to the Investment Director. As a qualified financial adviser, you will be able to review a client’s financial position, recognise and understand their requirements and provide advice and guidance to help them plan towards meeting their future financial goals and objectives.
You will be required to build new and existing client relationships whilst observing and following internal procedures, processes and compliance.
Utilising your strong communication skills, both verbal and written you will engage and develop relationships with a range of clients, providers and introducers.
You will be very well organised with the ability to manage a busy workload whilst developing and maintaining a high standard of client and colleague interaction at all levels.
Through commitment to achieving outlined goals you will help to develop and promote the business and its financial planning provision with the aim of achieving the company’s ambitions and professional objectives.
Requirements
Level 4 Qualified Financial Adviser
Experience in Intelligent Office, CashCalc or Truth would be advantageous though not essential.
Ambition to continue professional development.
Key Responsibilities
• A willingness to provide a high level of customer service whilst operating with personal integrity and high ethical standards.
• Contacting clients and setting up meetings, either within an office environment or in clients' homes or business premises.
• Providing advice across a variety of financial products and services
• Onboarding and servicing of new investment, pension and lifestyle planning clients.
• Conducting in-depth reviews of clients’ financial circumstances, current provision and future aims with full preparation including reviewing all required paperwork prior to meetings
• Analysing information and preparing plans best suited to individual clients' requirements.
• Designing financial strategies and assisting clients to make informed decisions.
• Researching the marketplace and providing clients with information on new and existing products and services.
• Assisting in the preparation and making presentations to existing clients, companies and introducers.
• To identify and promote cross selling opportunities with other departments.
• Generate and maintain accurate notes and records regarding client interactions and planning.
• Contacting clients with news of new financial products or changes to legislation that may affect their savings and investments.
• Ensure full compliance with business requirements.
• Meeting the regulatory aspects of the role, e.g. requirements for disclosure, costs of the services provided and also the advised products.
• The ability to use initiative and creativity to help develop the company and its other employees.
