Mortgage Administrator

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Isle of Man

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will provide support to the established experience team of Mortgage Advisers by dealing with case file, client queries, and undertaking all other aspects of administration directly and indirectly associated with ensuring our clients receive a first-class service.

The role will require an organised, conscientious, and hardworking individual who can deliver excellent results, within a client-facing and customer service-oriented team.

We are seeking an individual who ideally has some mortgage experience gained at a local bank however, previous administration skills, common sense and a dedication to hard work are equally as important.

Full training will be given on a full range of mortgage and protection products for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities:


• Liaise with Mortgage Advisers to ensure appraisal on the progress of mortgage cases and resolving any queries arising.

• Working with the advisers to ensure all activities meet compliance and regulatory requirements.

• Acting as the first point of contact for queries from clients, lenders, and conveyancers.

• Working with and communicating with clients both face to face, via e-mail and by telephone

• Processing and submitting Mortgage applications.

• Consulting with other team members and provide support and assistance where required.

• Providing administrative support on life assurance, critical illness covers and health protection products.

• Processing and submitting insurance applications.

• Contribute to team discussions regarding business development, new processes, company updates, charity/social events etc

• Provide clients with an elevated level of customer service in all communications.

• Competent use of computer systems such as Word, Excel, Access, and on-line quoting systems
