Overall Objective of Role:
Member of the IOM Finance team providing support to the Finance Director and Finance Manager.
This role will involve contact with Finance department staff, other staff in the IOM Office and UK offices and external auditors.
Main Responsibilities:
Will be responsible for the following areas of work:
• Provide advice and support to staff and managers on matters relating to corporate services, i.e. meeting organisation, company secretarial procedures and other relevant services;
• Completing registers and submitting forms required for regulatory filing e.g. directors’ and shareholders’ registers, annual returns, etc
• Management and completion of bank mandates, KYC requests, etc.
• Assisting compliance, investment and finance functions with company secretarial services as required;
• Support the development, coordination and review of new and existing policies, procedures, guidelines and work instructions;
• Assist with the management and review of legal contracts to decide the next steps;
• Assist and/or be responsible for the timely preparation of board pack preparation depending on entity;
• Take minutes to a high standard of quality and accuracy;
• Provide general administrative support, including electronic document archiving, filing, document registration, maintaining databases, etc;
• Any other tasks related to his/her area of work as requested.
Requirements
• preferably a qualification in corporate administration;
• Meet the character requirements for the duties involved;
• At least 3 years of professional experience acquired in positions relevant to the job description;
• Proven experience of working in company administrative support function
• Thorough knowledge of IT tools, in particular Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook);
• Excellent level of English, both written and spoken.
