Senior Recruitment Consultant

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and driven Recruitment Consultant to join our team in the finance sector on the Isle of Man.

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and placing qualified candidates into finance-related roles, working closely with both clients and candidates to ensure a seamless recruitment process.

This position requires strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, along with a solid understanding of the finance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the finance sector, understanding their staffing needs and requirements.
Candidate Sourcing: Source, attract, and engage potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, networking, social media, and referrals.
Screening and Interviews: Review CVs, conduct initial interviews, and assess candidates' suitability for specific finance roles based on their experience, skills, and qualifications.
Job Matching: Match candidates to the right roles by ensuring that both client and candidate requirements are met, while also providing guidance on market trends, salary expectations, and career progression.

End-to-End Recruitment Process: Manage the recruitment process from initial consultation through to candidate placement, ensuring a smooth transition for both clients and candidates.
Negotiation: Negotiate job offers, salaries, and contract terms with both clients and candidates, ensuring mutual satisfaction.
Market Research: Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the finance industry to better advise clients and candidates.
Sales & Business Development: Identify new business opportunities within the finance sector, expand client portfolios, and achieve recruitment targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant or in a sales/recruitment role, preferably within the finance sector.
Strong understanding of the finance industry, including key roles such as accountants, lawyers, fiduciary, yacht & aviation, banking, insurance, compliance, e gaming, HR, compliance etc. 
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
A proactive approach to candidate sourcing and business development.
Familiarity with recruitment software and job boards (e.g., LinkedIn) 
A confident and resilient attitude with the ability to handle rejection and continue pursuing goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in financial services recruitment or a background in finance would be advantageous.
